Privacy Policy

Last updated September 2026

ThaiExplores (thaiexplores.com) is a travel content site. This page explains what happens with your data when you visit.

What we collect

ThaiExplores currently does not require user accounts, newsletter sign-ups, or comments. We do not intentionally collect personal information directly from visitors. Our hosting platform may log basic technical data (like standard server access logs) as a normal part of running a website — this isn't something we actively review or use to identify individual visitors.

Affiliate links

Some links on this site (tours, hotels, activities and similar bookable links) are affiliate links to partners including Trip.com and Viator, run through the Travelpayouts affiliate network. Clicking one of these takes you to that partner's own site, which may set its own cookies to track bookings for commission purposes. That's governed by their privacy policy, not ours — we don't see or control what they collect. See our Affiliate Disclosure for more on how this works.

Embedded content

Links out to Instagram (our Reels) go directly to instagram.com in a new tab — nothing from Instagram is embedded or loaded on this site itself.

Optional analytics

Analytics is optional. Google Analytics only starts after you choose “Allow analytics”. It helps us understand site usage through page views, tool interactions and link clicks. Earlier events are not sent later. Analytics may set first-party cookies after you allow it.

We store only your analytics choice, its version, and decision and expiry times in your browser for 180 days. You can reject analytics and continue using the site. Missing, invalid or expired choices do not allow analytics.

You can change your choice below. Rejecting after analytics has started stops event forwarding, removes accessible first-party Google Analytics cookies and reloads the page to stop the loaded Google code. This does not erase data already sent to Google.
